Vietnamese Prime Minister Lê Minh Hưng concluded a significant three-day official visit to Russia, returning to Hanoi after strengthening bilateral cooperation and participating in the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit. The summit celebrated 35 years of relations between ASEAN and Russia, underscoring the importance of these diplomatic ties.
During his stay, the Prime Minister engaged in several high-level discussions in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan. He took part in pivotal summit sessions and business forums, as well as meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other regional leaders. The talks centered on enhancing cooperation in critical areas such as investment, energy, trade, technology, and industrial development, reflecting a shared commitment to mutual growth.
The Vietnamese delegation made significant strides by engaging with leading Russian organizations and businesses, leading to the signing of key cooperation agreements. This visit also marked the launch of new direct flight routes connecting Vietnam and Russia, further strengthening the ties between the two nations and facilitating increased interaction and economic exchange.
